There’s a time that when we need to step up our level while modifying cars. There’s a time when we’ve got nothing to do on the previous car. There’s many kinds of enthusiast out there that have a different perceptions. Maybe it’s not loyal, but anyway it’s their own experiences. Life’s is full of unexpected surprises. Meet Wilson who’s unexpectedly chose Volkswagen Scirocco.
The story began after Wilson sold his Honda Jazz that also had gotten into the stance scene and looking for a two-doors car that he soon personalized to be an eye catchy daily. Wilson told us that at first, it was a random decisions. But soon after he learned the Volkswagen Direct Shift Gearbox and its own performance alongside with the quality of German engineering, he finally in loved with his Volkswagen Scirocco.
The car itself is a sport compact 3-doors coupe and one of the best car that Volkswagen ever had. Volkswagen Scirocco got 3 generations. The first generations came during early 1970s and for the purpose to replacing the aged but gold Karmann Ghia Coupe. The first gen was based on Golf and Jetta Platforms. The second generations was came on the 80s but then stopped at the 90s. But on 2006 Volkswagen started the 3rd generations of VW Scirocco and later after that the car was awarded as the best car of the year in 2008 from Top Gear Magazine.
While Wilson got this VW Scirocco, he started to upgrade its ecu to reflashed by APR on stage 1 then add the Forge Carbon Intake, and Coil R8. For the exhaust system, Wilson add the Supersprint Downpipe and change the Exhaust System into a Full System Miltek Muffler.
For the exterior, Wilson still make it simple and cherish the Volkswagen design and engineering. Anyway it was one of his luck because this VW is got the Panoramic Optional by Volkswagen. So, he just change the tail light into a Dectane Tail light.
The search of the wheels of Wilson’s Volkswagen Scirocco was quite hard. He told us that he’s planning to find a wheels that will last for a long period of time. But luckily, Wilson got a friend who sell the HRE 841r 19×9,5-10,5 that got an aggressive fitment on his VW Scirocco. This HRE is one of the rare kinds. Because of its specifications. Wilson said at the moment he still use the BC Coilovers for his VW Scirocco, so he keep the safe fitment on his car just to not ruin the body and fenders. But he’s planning to make it on bags real soon. So, What’s next?
Cheers,
